Leaving your comfort zone and all the things you were used to, to travel alone is not easy. For some, travelling alone is a difficult decision to make due to some anxieties which can be met along the way.
Here are some things that I have learned on how to overcome these anxieties which might be helpful if you have plans to travel alone in the future:
- Solitary Eating. Indeed, it is stressful to eat alone if you are used to eat with your family and friends. Having dinner alone is weird however it is one way of spending time to yourself and you will get used to it. Or, you can also make friends along the way then dine together.
- Back up. Being alone in a place new to you will get you nervous specially if something went wrong however you need to learned ahead the culture of your destination and stay away from trouble. Be more confident, independent and self sufficient.
